Description
The S540MTD (Master Torque Driver) is a versatile pistol grip power tool capable of installing Jo-bolts, Visu-Loks, Visu-Lok IIs, Composi-Loks, Composi-Lok IIs, and Composi-Lok IIIs, in sizes ranging from 5/32″ (-5) up to 3/8″ (-12). The tool can be reconfigured to install different threaded blind bolt types and sizes by changing the adapter assembly.
To determine the correct tooling needed, first identify the type and style of fastener being installed. Note that Visu-Loks are not the same as Visu-Lok IIs, which utilize a drive nut to improve the installation process, thus requiring a different style of nose as well as a different type of wrench adapter. An adapter assembly is made up of two components, a wrench adapter and a complete nose adapter, which attach to the main tool, the S540MTD. A complete nose adapter is made up of a nose tip connector, and a universal nose tip.
