Description

The Model 6600 nutplate drill is a pneumatic power-feed drillmotor with hydraulic control, especially made for the precise spacing, drilling, and countersinking of two rivet holes simultaneously for the attachment of riveted floating nuts. The tool uses a pneumatic piston with an externally-adjustable hydraulic feed control, and an expandable collet to tightly clamp the material to be drilled while feeding the twin drill spindles through the workpiece at a consistent feed rate. The tool can be ordered at 6000 or 600 RPM for drilling different material types, but each rpm version of the tool can be configured to a wide range of spindle spacings for a large variety of nutplates.
